Our first birthday!

Finally this day arrived. Unbelievable, but the whole year is behind us. The passing of time is really a  very suprising thing, almost seems like yesterday when we entered into that empty space, where today we have our little restourant. So, a whole year of serving prasadam to the citizens of our little town is quite an impressive thing from my perspective of view.

During all days in a week we prepared this big event, we engaded a couple of devotees in everyday service during this period. And day before this amazing happening, a whole bunch of friends formed one big service hand where we completely transformed our little space into a truly beautiful and elegantly fresh environment.

That day, early in the morning we started to hatch a whole new inventive preparations which we wanted to present to our permanent guests and suprise then in that manner. There is no birthday in the world without a lot of different tastes of juicy sweets on the table.

We really invested some serious times for proper inviting many local friends and first time guests to come and celebrate together with us this special day, so numerous people started to attend our little space, immediately very early in the morning.

But we weren't really mentally prepared to the event in means of how much prasadam should we cook, because we were also confrontated with this new style of event. So basically, we mistaken and prepared maybe half of needs for the whole people, when we recognized that there is a lot more interest that we first thought. But Lord is so generous, and many many steps before our little inteligence, as we saw again in the events that occured after this first shock of lacking prepared prasadam. Two very young boys from city near ours, took a train that day to make a suprise visit to the restaurant, so the providence one again striked us.... Because without those two souls it would be practically impossible to prepare those amounts of sacred foods, and distribute them to the very hungry guests. In one moment there was fiftheen devotees actively engaded in kitchen service.

Attenders were in complete ecstasy, so much friends expressed their deepest gratitude for having such a place in their little town. We also prepared a nice gifts for everyone, and they were all blissful with those signs of love.

So, we are really eager to make it possible that next years birthday will be also very nice and that even more friends will come.
